On a sunny Sunday in 1992, people were enjoying their last day of the weekend. For some it was actually their last day, for some whole families it was their last day.
At 18:22 pm a cargo plane took off from Schiphol, at that time the last minutes of dozens of people had arrived.
It's weird how we feel safe in a world where everything is constantly in motion, where a small mistake can end catastrophically. Like on October 4, 1992, when one of the biggest disasters in the Netherlands took place.
This is a story about one of the biggest disasters in the Netherlands.
